Over the summer we carried out work on our training pitch.

The pitch was harrowed, levelled, new drains were laid, and 800 tonnes of sand spread.

On 31st August, we reseeded the pitch and sent up a prayer for rain! (Ok - you can blow out the candle now!)

We hope to have it back in action in 2022.

Thanks to Ger Moynihan and Eamonn Maguire for leading the project, and thanks to everyone who drove bulldozers, picked up stones and helped in any way.

Having the third pitch upgraded will allow us to take the load off the other pitches and to host our ever-growing numbers of teams with top-class facilities.
