Please remember our Summer Pitch Maintenance fundraiser.

The club would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported the fundraiser so far. First load of sand has arrived - much more to come!

We have now raised 48% of our €10,000 target - from almost 80 contributors. It's great to see the ongoing support for the club. With record numbers of adults, teenagers and children playing, ensuring we have good pitches for the new season is very important.

To prepare us for the coming season the pitches at Aghadoe which facilitated 10 different teams (3 adult, 5 youth, plus minis) last year will require renovation this involves:

• Spraying off all invasive weeds with appropriate herbicide 
• Sanding with certified sports sand 
• Applying Professional grade slow-release fertiliser
• Overseeding with dwarf perennial rye grass 
• Ensuring adequate water and nutrition to get the grasses established 

This comes at a cost and we would ask if you haven't had an opportunity to support the fundraiser to please support it now.
