KRFC is delighted to announce that we will be hosting the prestigious IRFU/Volkswagen Tag Rugby series at Aghadoe! The season commences on Tuesday July 16th with an Open Night and will continue for 6 x weeks of games each Tuesday until Finals Night on 27th August.

Team Registration: 300 EURO (Payable by €80 deposit online then remainder at the club on first night of leagues - Easy!)

IRFU Volkswagen Tag is a non-contact form of rugby played by mixed teams, containing male and female players. The non-contact form of "tagging" entails the defender removing a 'Tag' strip adhered by a velcro patch on the shorts of the attacking player/s. The non-contact nature allows Men and Women of all ages to participate at a level suitable to their ability and experience, from Higher Grade through to Beginners. Format: 7-a-side with up to 12 players on the panel. "Of the seven players on-field, THREE must be female." Players 16-18 need parental approval.
