U16 Munster Conference 2 - Castleisland 0 Killarney 24

With Conference 2 doubling as the West Munster League, Killarney retained their title from 2022-23.

The negative point was an injury to openside Jack Gabbett early in the first half - who fractured a wrist. We all wish Jack a swift recovery and hope to see him jackalling and tackling again soon.

Final table

In a game that was effectively a final, Killarney defeated the previously undefeated Castleisland side with 4 tries - 2 in each half, with both 1st half tries converted by Cathal Sugrue. Killarney and Castleisland both progress into the last 16 of Munster Cup - with phase 2 beginning on the weekend of 9/10 December.

Great credit to the boys who have only conceded 4 tries across their league fixtures.
