Killarney RFC U18.5 girls remain unbeaten in the league. The girls made the long journey to Bantry on Saturday morning to play against Bantry/Dunmanway RFC.
Played in lovely sunny conditions the Killarney girls started like they meant business. After some great interplay by forwards and backs Isabella O Leary scored a lovely try in the corner, next up to score was Niamh Dorrian. Playing a free flowing style of rugby the girls played some terrific running rugby and ran in some very impressive scores through Airida Matericiute, Ella Guerin-Crowley and then Ava O'Malley got in for two tries. Leading well at half time, a number of changes and including some positional changes were made at halftime. The Killarney girls didn’t stop scoring and Bronagh Dorrian got a super try, the last score of the day went to the home team.

Coach Diarmuid O’Malley added “we are very happy with this result and any team who comes down to West Cork will always get a good test. What was most pleasing was seeing some of the plays we are working off at training paying off on match day”
